From kicking off with lunch + an ergonomics talk by risk control consultant Neel Horst, to touring FNB Stadium with Ed Dame of Dame Strategies, to welcoming the Keystone Contractors Association at our LB Smith Ford project, our 2025 Safety Week was full of learning, collaboration, and recognition.

👏 One of our favorite parts? Celebrating our partners with a ton of well-deserved Subcontractor Safety Awards!

And special shoutouts to our own Brian Heath and Jill Hair for winning this year`s Safety Week Awards! Safety is always at the top of Brian’s mind, especially at his current project, the LB Smith Ford warehouse and always makes sure the subs on his projects are wearing the proper PPE. Jill has worked to make sure all of the SPx projects have all safety forms filled out and has worked to understand how we look at the potential hazards on projects.

At JEM, safety is more than a priority, it’s the foundation of everything we do. Because when we say we’re Building to Improve Lives, we know that starts with building safely. 🦺
